On Nov. 19, the Northampton City Council voted for a living wage resolution updating its 1998 Living Wage resolution. Using data from the Crittenton Women's Union <http://www.liveworkthrive.org/> and the Northampton Housing Authority to calculate a basic needs budget for a single person without children, the Northampton living wage begins at $11.90 per hour.
